I've always appreciated Corvettes for what they are and what they stand for. My dream has always been a red 1963 Split-Window Sting Ray. But when I saw the new C7's, I fell in love!
I play hockey with the New Car Sales Manager at the Hendricks Chevrolet dealership in Kansas City, KS, so I ordered a Torch Red C7 from him in September 2013. It was scheduled for delivery in April 2014, but fate intervened. This C7 pictured was ordered by someone else who expected its arrival in December 2013. It came in 2 months early and the other buyer passed on it! Since they walked away from it, I was able to purchase it on October 15, 2013, a full 6 months ahead of my schedule!
This is a fully-loaded Z51/3LT/7 Speed with Dual Mode Exhaust, Magnetic Ride Control and all the other extras. I've spent over a year modifying this Stingray and I’ve added a ton of Carbon Fiber accents for an aggressive, yet classy look. I hope I have achieved that. I was in the market for a 2-seater sports car with a LOT of power! I chose Corvette over the F-Type Jaguar, the Porsche Cayman S and the Maserati Gran Turismo.
