Terry Cramer saw the movie “Corvette Summer” as a teen and dreamed of someday owning a Corvette. In April of
2007 that dream became a reality when Terry and his fiancé, Kitty, purchased a 1977 “Corvette Orange” Corvette.
Together they completely restored the Corvette, sharing purchase and design decisions. A visit to
Mid America Motorworks and a tour of PERFORMANCE CHOICE inspired the custom interior for their Vette.
More ideas developed, including hand-painted pinstripes and accents on their “77 Custom Dream.”
Their passion is already being rewarded, including a Celebrity’s Choice win at their first Corvette Funfest at
Mid America Motorworks.
The Cramers plan to continue their customization projects, with Mid America Motorworks along for the fun.
When no other suppliers wanted to get involved, Mid America Motorworks said “yes we can.” The Cramers
are eager to see their baby become the car of their dreams.
